Yes! My lessons are designed to help students of all levels, including complete beginners, feel confident and supported as they learn Korean.

You can easily book a lesson by filling out the form on the Contact page. Write your purpose as “Book a Class,” on the Message box and I’ll get in touch with the next steps.

I’m currently based in Vancouver. If you’re also in Vancouver, we can discuss the possibility of in-person lessons.

I currently offer mostly 1-on-1 classes, but we can discuss group lessons if there’s interest! Let me know.

Yes, you can reschedule or cancel a lesson up to 12 hours before the scheduled time without any penalty. If you cancel within 12 hours of the lesson, unfortunately, there will be no refund. If you’re using a package of lessons, and you cancel a lesson, you will be refunded 70% of the lessons you haven’t yet taken.

I use Google Meet for all online lessons. Let me know if you’d like additional suggestions for phrasing!

Just come ready to learn! You don’t need any specific materials for the first class, but if you have any questions or goals, feel free to share them beforehand.

Hazel's teaching style is wholesome and soul-nourishing! The exercises she does with you are both methodical and interactive (roleplay). If you want to learn how to read/pronounce lyrics, she is there to help you with that. I could already read a bit but cannot understand what I am reading which means I was not exactly a beginner.
